Why is only dog-fighting barbaric?

How about bull-fighting?
How about people fighting?
Boxing, Ultimate Fighting where people get injured and die, these are hugely popular and LEGAL in America today.
Most of you who are screaming hysterically against dog-fighting are also found in the front rows or in front of the TV CHEERING the barbaric bloody fights between human beings held in extravagant stadiums. You are the true hypocrites living in a troubled society that gives higher social status to animals than to people. You have the sensitivity to feed a stray dog or cat, but how few of you have the brains to care for one of the millions of human children starving of hunger and dying of poverty in this land of the crazies. The rest of you have no more humanity and no less barbarism. All you have is dog-manity, maybe.

I agree: all fighting is barbaric, and I don't care to watch it.

I suppose the difference is that humans have a choice (unless they're slaves or captives, i.e. Spartacus), while dogs, cocks, and other animals don't. That's why people don't condemn Muhammad Ali or other boxers, but they condemn Michael Vick and others who force animals to fight.
