Is it alright to take 2 different types of supplements (muscle growth) ?
I recently bought whey protein, and a fat burner called Ripped Fuel from Twinlab. Though they are different types of supplements, I'm wondering if it's ok to take them at the same time. I want to burn body fat quickly and gain muscle, so I thought I'd purchase both of these products. Thank you!
Don't listen to this guy who says they'll cause kidney failure. That's an incorrect assumption and a lot of research has been done that indicates otherwise. There is some contraversy around the practice of high protein intake, but the contraversy comes from those who are not educated in sports nutrition.
These should be able to interact safely with each other. I'm not sure the effectiveness of the Ripped Fuel, so you'll have to see that for yourself. The protein powder whey is derived from milk and is completely natural, safe and effective. Whey is derived from milk, and honestly the body cannot tell the difference between protein sources. Whey protein is superior for pre and post workout protein intake.
