Does adderall increase metabolism?

I have ADD and i take adderall. I know it's an appeitite suppressor which is the main reason why it's used as a diet pill, but i think it might increase metabolism too. From what i know, adderall can mimic adrenaline or something to that effect. When your adrenal glands respond to stimulus such as fear, they produce epinephrine (which i think is the same as adrenaline or closely related), and the epinephrine stimulates the metabolism of stored glycogen in the liver. So would it speed up metabolism in general or is it much more complicated than that and there are all sorts of variables?
