How do I remove extreme mold smell from oven?
Someone baked chicken in the oven.. 3 weeks ago. Lots of leftovers. Fast forward to now, and nobody realised the chicken was still there.. except with ludicruous amounts of mold.
I've removed the extremely molded chicken (lumps of mold as big as my fist), but the strong odour (intoxicating.. I might add) is still there.
What's the best way to get this smell out? Fan it out to the direction of the window? Apply some chemicals?
Clean your oven with Easy Off Oven Cleaner or if it's self cleaning, do what you have to do to get it started. Either way should eliminate the problem you have with a pungent odor. They also have an oven cleaner that is made for self cleaning ovens. It's in a blue can & is made by Easy Off. It is lemon scented & would eliminate the odor as well.
