My dogs got in some pills, but are not acting funny, should i be worried?
Today after coming home from work, I saw that my 65lb boxer and 25lb shnauzer had somehow gotten into my bathroom and caused enough of a mess that my "Natures Bounty: V-Power Arousal" pills fell over and broke open. I could tell they had only ate one or two each before deciding that they tasted bad, and that it had been a while since they had ate them. They were not acting out of the normal, and are still not now. I would estimate its been 6 hours since they ingested them. I am no good at science, so I will give all the ingredients:
Niacin 45mg
Guarana extract 300mg
Yohimbe extract 750mg
Taurine 200mg
Oat extract 150mg
Saw palmetto extract 100mg
Raw testicular extract 50mg
Ginkgo biloba 40mg
And finally Eleuthero Siberian root 30mg.
Should I worry, is is there not enogh to be harmful?
Please please please call the vet, if your vet is not available, and you cannot find a 24hour vet to call in your area than please call one of these numbers and ask them, I know it has been awhile since he/she ate them, but it could have prolonging affects that you are not aware of, such as eating at the stomach, etc.
