Is it OK to mix prescription diet S/D with Fancy Feast or some other canned food?
My cat has had a lot of urinary tract issues over the past couple of months. He has blocked twice, and is now on the Hills S/D diet. The problem is that he is not eating enough of the food. He has lost about a pound (he is already very lean). I tried mixing fancy feast in with the S/D and he LOVED it. Ate every bit of it. Is this OK?
If your cat is on a prescription diet due to a medical issue this is something you need to ask your VET - not strangers on the internet - some of which are 12 and most of which don't have a CLUE.
