does Ephedra pills really work?
a friend gave me some ephedra due to rapid weight loss. but i'm also working out on a daily basis. any advice?
Don't take them. They're extremely dangerous. They can harm you if you have high blood pressure and even if you don't. I tried it once and I'll never forget how they made me feel. I have normal blood pressure, I took the recommended dose and had the 'shakes' for hours. When I tried it again, I took 1/2 the normal dose and still had the same reaction. My whole body was shaking, I couldn't hold a glass, type on the computer, etc. There's a reason ephedra comes with a warning...it's simply too dangerous.
If that doesn't do it for you, any weight loss achieved rapidly will be gained back quickly and then some when you stop taking the pills.
Just keep up your exercise and if you're looking for weight loss, decrease your calories a bit at a time until you begin losing weight while not starving yourself.
