what do you think of hoodia?
i am thinking seriously of trying hoodia to help with weight loos. i am hoping that real people that have tried this will reply to my question"does it work, how did it make you feel (side effects), did you loose weight, what brand did you use that worked for you and anything else you can add to your answer that would help me with my decision to try. i would like to hear the good and the bad. i am in canada, if that helps with your answer. thank you very much for taking the time to be helpful and honest. i am lookinf forward to reading your answers. p.s. i was looking into trying the brand "liquid hoodia extreme" i thank you again for your time.
I'll try to answer your questions and provide some guidance for you.
The first thing you need to understand is that hoodia plays a very small role in an overall weight loss program. It only suppresses appetite. It does not burn fat or do anything "magical" that will melt the fat away without you doing anything.
People that have the most success with hoodia diet pills realize this and only use it as an aid to get them through those times in the day where they might normally get hungry (and consequently overeat). Otherwise, they still maintain a healthy diet and exercise.
That being said, if you still think you'd like to try hoodia, then let me tell you a little more about it. To date, there are no known side effects and hoodia diet pills appear to be safe. However, since it's a relatively new supplement, we don't know what the long term effects are of continued use. There have been some dieters who have complained of upset stomach when taking it, but other than that, there are no side effects.
The hoodia supplement industry is huge as many companies are making millions off of them. Unfortunately, a majority of the hoodia weight loss pills on the market today are fake (they contain little to no hoodia gordonii but are marketed as "authentic hoodia gordonii"). The specific brand you are considering has me concerned.
For starters, it is made by NxCare, now known as NxLabs. They specialize primarily in bodybuilding supplements and if you go to the NxLabs website, they have no information on this product. There are no certifications or documents to prove their product contains authentic hoodia gordonii.
Reputable companies will clearly display their CITES certificates (these are required to obtain hoodia gordonii from South Africa where it is grown) and other important documents such as their grower's permit and independent lab tests that show their products contain authentic hoodia gordonii. I don't see any of this on the NxLabs website.

Finally, since you are in Canada, I would recommend the Hoodia Hoodia product from Millenium Health. They are located in Ontario. Based on my research of this company, I feel confident they sell 100% authentic hoodia gordonii. I've provided a link to their website below as well.
