Which deodorant should I be using?
Okay so I have seven sticks of deodorant with me here. The problem is… none of them work. And so day after day I come and go with wet rings of sweat under the arms of every shirt I wear. It looks as though someone deliberately took a spray bottle with water in it and wet me under the arms. I’ve tried everything. I’ve tried these brands:
Lady Power Stick
Secret
Teen Spirit
Sure Max (clinical strength)
Suave
Secret Platinum gel
and Degree girl…. for every omg moment : / yeah right
I haven’t tried the canned spray deodorant. Do you think that would work?
Every single deo I own is antiperspirant and deodorant… and solid except for the gel stick.
So what am I doing wrong here? Why are my under arms on my shirts always NOTICEABLY wet? I never wear a jacket and the ac in the classrooms is kept low but I keep my arms down by my side a lot.
Help me! This is embarassing!
try switching to a men's deoderant (some come unscented so you don't have to worry about smelling like a boy), they're usually stronger since guys naturally sweat more. check your beauty products (soaps, body washes, lotions, sprays, anything you use on your skin). some products can irritate your skin and cause more sweating, try using a bland soap (somethign unscented or hypoallergenic) if neither things work try talking to your doctor to see if he/she can recommend something that's clinical strength (other than the brand you've tried) or even more powerful. also, if your doctor determines you have overstimulated sweat glands you could be prescribed medication that helps to block the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. there are things you can do other than using deoderants/antiperspirants, just talk to your doctor about it. although if you're a teen/preteen it could have to do with your age, you could end up outgrowing it.
