How soon after birth control can you get pregnant?
I was on the pill for about 3 years, and now I'm off and TTC. Any ideas on how fast it can happen, because I've only been off for about 5 weeks, but I've been having all kinds of crazy pregnancy symptoms:
-Bloated
-Lower Back Pains
-Cramps (like period cramps, only way too early)
-Moodiness/crying during not-sad movies
-Exhaustion
-Occasional nausea
-Consistent headaches
-Darkened areolas
-Dizzyness/Light-headed when I stand up
-Occasional fever
-No appetite, then extreme hunger
-Frequent urination
-Sensitivity to smell
Please answer!
PS I should mention that I'm prone to irregular periods when I'm not on the pill, so it's going to be hard to clock exactly when I should be ovulating/expecting my next period, etc.
Every woman is different. My Friend was pregnant 3 months after getting off and I have been off 10 months and not pregnant yet. I think that your symptoms have a lot to do with your hormone change and also when you are ttc it's easy to have symptoms that are not really there. I couldn't tell when I was ovulating either so I started using the ovulation sticks you pee on. Just follow the directions and it's pretty accurate. Good luck!
