can diet pills change your urine color?
I bought xenadrine xtreme for women today, and only took one pill to see how jittery or how i was going to feel on it, i also bought and took a multi-vitamin today with it as well. I have been drinking a plentiful amount of water, but my urine looks like its liquid yellow highlighter, its bright neon yellow... i can't find anything online about this being a side effect, but would like to know if this is normal or should i be concerned and stop taking them?
p.s. - i am drinking more than enough water. i don't think being dehydrated is the problem..
The B vitamins can have an effect on the colour of urine.
" Niacin especially will turn your urine a yellowish color from bright yellow to neon yellow"
In fact the B vitamins generally can do so and the capsules have folic acid and Vit B12 as well as the niacin.
Xenadrine contains "Vitamin D (as cholecalciferol) 100IU
Niacin (as Xanithinol Nicotinate) 14mg
Folic Acid 333mcg
Vitamin B12 0.8mcg
NB In dehydration is a very dark (sometimes almost brown) colour.
