Is the only way to detox without surgery is to diet? Does this really give you great energy and is it healthy?
No NO No way.
Proper detox is done with herbal tea and not eating junk. Never go to a doctor for such things. If you detox, you may get itchy skin - like on your back ans the toxins make their way out of your body to the surface. Talk to a naturopath, go to a health food store and ask. Note that some tea should only be used for one week, then stop, and resume after a week. If done with a professional naturopath, you will get better results (more energy included) by letting him/her work with your body's needs to find the true cause of any problems.
