Why is my skin so dry?
My skin is combo oily/normally but now that its winter my face has gone dry i use lots of moisturiser but its still dry and isnt as soft anymore.
I use powder makeup(mineral) and cleanse with the neutrogena wave or proactive i skipped the 3 step sometimes thinking that was what was making my face dry but nothing changed
Any thoughts?
My skin is oily/normal/dry...its horrible haha. Um I would start using a moisturizing face cleanser. But if you're skin feels tight after that...then you know that its not working for you (it should be relaxed). I tried the neutrogena wave before, although my skin was softer, it dried me out, so maybe do it for a smaller amount of time. Use warm water, and RIGHT after you pat your face down (not rub) with a towel put on moisturizer. Since my skin is very dry, i usually put on layers too. I would just keep face lotion with you all the time (aveeno works well). Also drinking more water, when your body is deprived of water the first place it will start pulling from is your skin, so keep hydrated! 
Also if you want extra moisturizing, this may sound odd but olive oil is a natural moisturizer that does NOT clog pores at all. If you do use this though, i'd put it on at night in thin layers. (since it is still oil, it'll look shiny haha)
