Holley Carb question for the muscle car guys?
Can you take a holley carb off a ford small block and put it on a chevy small block? are they inter-changeable like that?
my bad,....i forgot to mention that the intake manifold is an eldebrock torker
A Holley square bore carb will fit a Chrysler, Chevrolet or Ford square bore intake maniflold. Where problem's arrise is type of choke, cubic inches, vacuum secondary (or not) and desired torque and RPM range of operation.
Holley isn't the only game in town either. Carter / Edelbrock and a Rochester Quadrajet will give better throttle response and fuel economy if they're tuned up a little.
