Caffeine Weightloss Diet
Is this weightloss plan going to work for me?
I am 5' 5" and weigh 150lbs. Recently I cut out all caffeine from my diet (no sodas, chocolate, caffeinated tea, everything!) I also do not eat sweets and have tried to cut back my fried foods to half of what I used to eat. My calorie intake now about 1517 per day on average and it used to be somewhere in the 2000 - 2500 depending on where I ate at work. To add to it, I do the 10 minutes of jogging in place, 10 minutes of rythmic boxing, and 10 minutes of Yoga (all on the Wii Fit) per night. I drink nothing but water with lemon or lime (64 oz per day) and on V8 Splash juices. My cheat day is Sunday but I haven't really had to use it... I've noticed already that I'm feeling better and my skin is looking better. How long before I start to see physical results? I want to lose in my thighs, butt and stomach and tone everywhere. If this routine is not enough, what else can I do to help? Where can I step it up on Wii fit? My goal is to lose 30 lbs... how long to achieve this?
Try to cut out fried foods completely, except for the occasional treat.
You also could really use more real exercise. The Wii is fun to play on, but 45 - 60 mins a day (or more) at least 5 days a week of good cardio exercise and some strength training (about 3 days a week) would be a much better workout program.
You can lose up to 3 lbs/wk in a healthy manner by eating right and exercising regularly. How much you will lose depends on your calorie intake versus your calorie burn (which isn't very high at this point).
A good sight I've found for monitoring my intake and calorie burn is livestrong.com (the daily plate). You can keep track of every bite of food you eat during the day, and your workouts.
At a loss of about 2 lbs/wk you can lose 30 lbs in about 4 months. Good luck!
