Brazilians vs USA in MMA?

Anybody here ever wonder what it is the Brazilians do that we don't? They simply conquer and devastate most of the Americans. Don't get me wrong, Matt Hughes>Royce/Renzo Gracie, Frank Mir>Nog, Urijah Faber>Raphael Assuncao, Velasquez>Nog, and so on, but then you see Shogun (My fave fighter), Machida, Anderson Silva, Aldo, and so on.

Don't misunderstand me. Obviously, there are certain discrepancies in each subject, but check out the fighters who are dominating the WEC and the UFC. I'm not trying to make any remarks on Brazilians or Americans, my question is simply is what do they do in their regiments that makes them stand out? Is it their diets? It can't be their commitments because that has to do with the person and his talents. Is it that the Brazilians train at high altitude? Is it that the talent pool is slim in our neck of the woods? Can anybody shed some light?

I think it has to do with where our (America) athletes end up. In Brazil the top athletes don't have the NFL, NBA and such. They have Soccer and fighting. Our athletes have other venues that offer a quite a bit more money and they are exposed to it at a younger age...why not pursue that. Also MMA has been around Brazil a bit longer than in the states but known as Vale Tudo.
