Whats the best way to control appetite naturally?
I used to be very physically active - rowing / running/ weights.
I got into the habit of eating big meals with no weight gain. Now that I've reduced that level of activity, though still going to the gym, I'm putting on weight. My body is in the habit of eating big meals (I don't snack much) and if I don't have a big meal I crave food even though I don't need it. Its like my brain is totally out of synch with my reduced activity level. Is it just a matter of conscious will-power? The urge is very powerful!
I found that a gym session completely depleted my appetite. I did not want to eat my next meal. I do need to put fuel into the system, though.
Try getting little chilli intake. Not too much that it burns, just enough for a tiny flavour. I also find that chilli reduces my desire for food if I have a little with meals. It is also inexpensive and a source of vitamin C, too.
You must discuss this matter with a doctor and get a referral to consult with a dietitian.
I assume you are aware about fat intake, etc. Nevertheless, allow the dietitian to inform you fully.
